TAKE THE QUIZ

Take the free quiz and discover your marketing superpower as a life coach!

If you have an existing business with any or all of an email list, website visitors, podcasts, and, a social media following, AND it would help if you increased revenue NOW.

Instead of looking to take the time to develop, create, and launch a new offer or schedule an extra launch of what you have and taking out more time, energy, and money to risk hitting your numbers in one launch, why not integrate HAPPY INCOME STREAMS into your business.

I call them happy because they flow and keep flowing – incrementally over time.

And once set up, you barely have to lift a finger.

Yep, I know a lot of coaches online talk about passive income, but this is the very definition of it!

No client headaches, win-win scenarios and you standing in your power delivering beautiful value to your community.

Now, before you say “Are you trying to sell us in Amway now, Victoria?”

Let’s be clear.

NO, I am not!

Instead, I’m coming to you with FIVE incredibly easy ways to boost revenue using what you already have in your business: clients, audience, and attention.

Now if you don’t have any of these assets in your business yet, that’s fine.

Back in 2011. I made $23K spending $593 to buy an audience to deliver me passive income.

I’ll tell you about that at the end of this post.

But. if you do have an audience already, even if it’s small, you have the chance to share aligned values and enjoy the benefits.

Now, I want to start by saying, that the strategies I’m sharing require you to be in your truth and integrity.

This isn’t some scammy, “smash and grab” opportunity to make a quick buck by hanging your valued community out to dry.

It’s about lovingly sharing recommendations as you would with a friend.

I happily tell everyone about courses, communities, and software I love regardless of whether I get any commission for doing so, and this is the spirit in which all of the strategies I’m sharing today should be offered.

1. Share & Integrate Valuable Resources Into Your Content & Offers

In the course of running and sharing our business, we will come across and use tools, resources, software, templates, and kits that make our lives better or easier and create great outcomes.

We invest in them, we love them and we would happily recommend them.

So now, go and take a look at some that you invest in, and explore if they have an affiliate program.

An affiliate program is where you partner with another business or supplier of one of these offerings and when you join their affiliate program and promote the tools you love to your audience, you get a referral commission.

It’s like a win/win payday which can build up over time.

When you sign up you get a tracking link and if someone you share the link with online or in your email, social media, or even ad purchases, then an agreed portion of that sale is paid to you – at no cost to the purchaser.

Think of it as a marketing cost for the creator of the tool, software, or resource.

You did their marketing for them and brought them revenue, so you get a reward.

The end user still pays the same amount.

You share that you get a commission upfront and they can make up their mind.

Depending on the size of your audience, influence, and engagement as well as how many channels you have active, this can add up to $1000+ a month quite quickly without you having to do any extra work.

And as an extra incentive you can offer bonuses and extras to your audience if they do buy to create an even bigger win-win.

Examples of tools I recommend or have shared in the past include Kajabi, Convert Kit, LeadPages, Interact Quiz Software, and JotForm to name a few.

To be clear, nothing in there is anything I wouldn’t naturally recommend and I think they are all great products.

2. Collabs

If you know other businesses, coaches, or products that are either launching, have a summit or have a webinar or presentation they would share with your audience, you can partner with them to collaborate on sharing their value with your audience for a commission.

The aim here is that they would have a complementary rather than competing offer, something that goes together like strawberries and cream.

And you should trust the person, their standards, and their values, otherwise, you risk your credibility, which is no bueno.

You can also have Webinar Swaps where you each get a chance to present to the other audience and no affiliate commission is exchanged, it’s just a shared opportunity.

I have hosted webinars for women like Susie Moore, Melanie Duncan, Marie Forleo, and more and I have been asked to present my webinars for other business owners too, and paid out commissions for a chance to access their audience.

These can also take place in the form of offering a course or program or opt-in you’ve already created into a partnership where you all either share the list or get commissions from the sale of the pooled programs.

3. Licensing

Now, these opportunities aren’t no-cost ways to bolster income, but I think they’re worth mentioning all the same.

Licensing is where you buy the one-time or ongoing rights to sell other people’s content.

I have done this with Danielle LaPorte’s Desire Map Workshop Facilitation and Kendall Summerhawk’s Money, Marketing & Soul Trainings that I integrated into my own when I knew I needed some more structures and frameworks to help me scale but was so busy with clients that I didn’t have the time to step out and create them myself from scratch.

This way you get an asset to sell without the downtime and if your plan works, you should more than make up for the cost you invest with any additional sales.

Also, if there is a one-off license fee payable, rather than an ongoing pay-as-you-go fee, you get the chance to keep making returns on your investment over time.

4. Sell Your Old Website, Online Store Or Email List

If you’ve outgrown your website, email list, or online store but still have good traffic and some activity, there are sites you can sell them on.

Maybe you’ve changed niches like I have many times.

Even small lists on focused topic areas can fetch some good money, as can a desirable website audience if it’s getting organic traffic.

This is more of a once-off opportunity, but worth it all the same.

5. Private Label Rights + White Label Products & Services

This is where you can source other people’s products, software, tools, services, templates, and programs and brand them as your own to offer.

Sometimes they continue to provide the product or service and you are like a reseller.

It’s like a joint venture that saves you creation time and servicing costs to deliver a benefit to your audience and buyers.

There’s software that you can brand your own with a few clicks and tweaks and sell as your own.

And there’s one-off content created you can easily tweak and brand as yours that can save you hours and money in creation time and sell as your own.

I like Coach Glue and Melissa Ingold’s offers for this, it can take the headache out of content creation and some of their templates and kits can be packaged into an offer you can keep selling again and again.

Now, as promised earlier, I wanted to fill you in on that $23K I landed without having an audience.

It was back in 2011, and I promoted B-School as an affiliate and ran ads with my affiliate link.

Bingo!

The other thing to be aware of is the regulations around promoting offers and services that you receive a commission for. In the US this is governed by the FTC, so check with compliance issues in your country or state.

Obviously, you want to keep all this clean and in good faith.

That goes without saying.

What do you think?
